A church where children are not an inconvenience

Emerald Crossing wrapped up for 2026. Next summer's week will be announced here first — and Sunday School runs every week of the year in the meantime.

Children here, week to week

Sunday School meets at 9:45 with classes by age, working through the Bible rather than around it. During the eleven o'clock service children stay with their families, and nobody here minds a bit of noise from a pew — a quiet church is usually a dying one.

Vacation Bible School runs one week each summer. It is free, it is open to any child in Ontonagon County whether or not the family attends anywhere, and it fills the building with more children than the rest of the year put together.

When next summer's week is set, the dates and the registration link go up on this page first.
